Im from australia. How do i get the tiktok cape?

As the title says. I cant get the cape in my region. Anyone got any ideas on how i can get it?

From Straya too. I’m getting the same issue. I type “minecraft” or variations involving that phrase. Tried a VPN and still couldn’t obtain the cape. This is my first time making a TikTok account and it is making me want to delete it! I also started getting messages saying I can’t post comments on the live stream “…because of this lives settings” I’m fed up!

Edit 25/05/24: IT WORKED! No VPN or tomfoolery needed! You just need to make sure the streamer is actually from australia. XD

i’ve looked at this thread a bunch and i finally got it working so i thought id share.

the way i did it (from a phone, although you could do this on blue stacks too) was to get a vpn trial from express vpn (then cancel it immediately so i didn’t have to pay), set myself to an american server and then went to the web version of tiktok and created an american account (specifically the web version because tiktok pulls data from your sim card on the app to see where you are). then i logged in to that account on the app version of tiktok,and then did one of the tasks on an american stream and got it.

its a bit of a fuck around honestly but this method is reliable and you could swap american for a uk one or whatever you need to get one from a certain stream

You aparalently have to type in the words “Minecraft” on a Minecraft related video but the anoying thing is if your Australian you have to find and Australian who is just so happening to be playing Minecraft on tik tok live

I honestly don’t think it’s possible. I tried with my normal account on a vpn, the icon wasn’t showing up so I made a new one, then it did but said unavailable. I tried making a whole new Google account while connected to a vpn and still didn’t work. I tried all variations of this and it seems Australian streamers don’t even have the tiktok cape giveaway. The only advice I can give you is to have someone in an available region get a code for you. That’s what I did.

Edit: someone else commented saying it works if you use a vpn and use the web version of tiktok on your phone and create a new account. Now tiktok will think you’re in America and it should work. Otherwise get someone else to get it for you.

Also from Australia and having no luck. I have spent so long watching some streamers and commenting ‘Minecraft’ where required but no luck.

Very disappointed.

I managed to get the 15 year anniversary & twitch cames but no luck with Tik Tok as usual.

I got it!
I was using a VPN, since I had tried that before. Didn’t work.
I had location turned off, and VPN. Didn’t work
I turned off mobile data. Didn’t work
I pulled my SIM card (location still off, VPN still on) cleared data from TikTok, and created a new account (you may need a new throwaway email address) and it defaulted to US (which is where my VPN was pointed.

I watched 7dk00 and it worked!

I have tried all the advice given in the comments and none of them work. I don’t understand why they don’t allow it in certain countries. Like fucking why. Would appreciate someone messaging me a code that works but don’t think that’s gonna happen.

Update for the Australians!

I jumped on today and was able to get my code from Cheerfulzoo when she was streaming on TikTok. So far this has been the only Australian TikToker who I was able to get the code through but I got it :smiley:

Australia region locking appears to be fixed! (You just have to find an aussie creator on tiktok)

Looks like it’s working now. No VPN, aussie phone number attached, region australia, watching an australian streamer (Anthony Farah) I have gotten a code

Also trying different ways I created about 10 alts and so far have used four of them to get four more codes, no problem. Variously set up with VPN, flight mode, no sim, but all in my normal phone on normal setup
