I am trying to install the Vivo app to solve some problems with my cellphone.
But I am not able to because I think it is only offered if your Playstore/appstore is set in Brazil?
What should I do? find an APK or something like that? anyone has experience?
I’m in Brazil (moved from us) and downloaded Express VPN to use US apps like Venmo and my other us shopping apps and US credit card apps (Ulta, Ikea, etc)
Obv can’t have stuff shipped directly to Brazil… But that’s a whole other topic.
Express is the first VPN I’ve used- it does cost $ but I think has a 14 or 30 day money back risk free period if you don’t like it ? But I can use it on my lap top, cell, tablet, and bfs lap top… And supposedly to stream from for tv too? But idk if I would need a specific router or what.
Hope this helps!
Use a VPN to set your location to Brazil. If you don’t have a personal CPF number from Brazil, you still might have a problem installing an app used for Brazilians. You will need to install the Brazilian version of the play store.
I am a Brazilian but I live in Poland. I have two Gmail accounts, one in Brazil, the other in Poland. This way I can install apps from both countries.
You can simply change your location on your current account, but I am not sure if you need to wait sometime to change it back.
How would the vivo app help you with that? How are you using vivo network outside of brazil?
Would also love to know the answer to this. I’m from the UK but work in Brazil. The problem is with play store. I can change my address and location from UK to Brazil. But, I am then tied into Brazil play store for 18 months. Google does not allow you to change within 18 months. And, for me, I spend 50/50 time in each country. I can’t do it. I would love a work around, it would make life easier with certain things.
Do you have a Brazilian address you can use for the Play Store?
With vivo I’m not sure. I just know I can access US stuff that I can’t access from Brazil when I have a USA VPN turned on.
You can only change your playstore location to a new country once a year. I would not recommend that. You would be stuck with the Brazilian play store for at least 12 months and would not be able to convert back for at least 12 months.
I created a Brazilian Gmail account at google.com.br and used it separately on a separate play store app just for Brazil. I was able to use both accounts on the server device. Just had to sign out on one and sign in on the other. If you have a Samsung phone, use the secure folder to set up apps with the brazil account.
A long time ago, I used my secondary Gmail, with my family address in Brazil to set up and download some apps that were region locked. Like the comment abobe suggests, either create or log into an account that has no association with a US phone number or address, log in on the app store with that email and look for the app. At least that worked for me in the past.
Yes. Definitely create a new gmail account and set it to brasil. This is the correct way.
I thought you weren’t from Brazil. To keep you number alive I think you gotta recharge it every X months
You can try it. When I tried before (a couple years ago), the play store remained in the same country. That’s when I set up a separate play store app just for Brazilian apps.
I do it this way and can confirm it works
