How to block X-VPN

Hi guys

Please can someone help here, I need to block the X-VPN application. There are no signatures for this, it seems to use Fast.Lemon VPN, also uses port 53 and 443 and no matter what I have tried to block, it tends to go out and connect.

Three recommendations:

  1. turn on SSL inspection
  2. Turn on “network protocol enforcement” for DNS in app control
  3. Turn on DNS filter and block “proxy avoidance”

It is blocking now, I was hoping that there was a way to block it without deep packet but I guess that is hoping for too much…

In your experience, what is the best way to roll out the deep packet certificate to mobile devices?

you mean that x-vpn app connects even if it’s not open?

MDM like Jamf for Apple devices and another MDM for Android ones.
