[HELP] IVPN iOS app blocks connection when switching from WiFi to cellular network and vice-versa. How to fix?

When using the IVPN iOS app (iOS 15.2) if I leave my house and lose WiFi (or simply turn off WiFi), the IVPN app seems to stop working or adjust to the change in network and the connection is blocked. The only workaround is to disconnect IVPN, switch networks, and then re-connect IVPN.

I do have AntiTracker and Kill Switch settings on but this is not an issue with other (read Swedish) VPN providers which handle the transition smoothly.

Is there anything I need to change in the settings to allow for the switch of networks without having to do a manual reconnect?

I think this is not related to Network Protection, but rather some strange conflict on iOS 15+ devices (issue is not consistent) when having multiple VPN profiles in iOS Settings.

Removing all VPN profiles in the iOS Settings and connecting again usually resolves the issue.

We are still not been able to confirm whether this is an iOS bug or bug within our WireGuard implementation.

Check the Network Protection settings for the networks your device uses. Networks set to trusted will cause an automatic disconnection. Set other networks to untrusted to automatically connect the VPN.

Using WireGuard might help as well. WireGuard handles network disruptions virtually seamlessly.

If the issue persists, enable diagnostic logs for the connection, wait for the issue to occur, submit logs, then let the IVPN support department know you have submitted logs and the approximate time the issue occurred (local time, to correlate with the logs):

Thanks for the prompt reply! However, that is not my issue. I would like my VPN to be on 24/7, whether at my home wifi network or at the public cafe. However, when I step out of my house where I have wifi and my phone switches to cellular network, it seems to cause issues with the IVPN app and the connection stops work. I have to manually disconnect and reconnect for it to work. The same happens when I come back to my house and switch from cellular network to my home wifi network.
