Where can I download old versions of FortiClient? The latest version doesn’t work well on my Mac, my colleague has an older version, and it works for him.
I can’t find a page online which has download links for old versions on it.

need to login to your support account at support.fortinet.com
And here I thought it couldn’t get any more user unfriendly. Unfortunately, I have no such account.
Thanks for your answer though.
hmm im guessing your not the administrator of your firewall? Just and end user. Ask your IT for assistance
FYI - you’re the type of user that IT Administrators hate. Simply ask your IT guy if you have a problem with the software instead of trying to find a download on Reddit. Imagine you get a link, download it and get some ransomware on your PC that fucks the entire company… SMH.
It generally depends on your needs, there are multiple FortiClient versions (ZTNA/VPN vs. EPP/APT, etc.) and multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, etc.) so it’s not just obscured for inconvenience sake.
If you have a corporate/managed device, then best to speak with the IT team as they may manage the deployment of software or have a specific process to roll you back if needed.
If it’s just a standalone device, then generally speaking the newer versions of FortiClient are likely best. An example of why in the Mac world would be the Apple silicon support and some changes to permissions, etc. that old versions wouldn’t be compatible with.
Everything is on the support.fortinet.com page - but as hinted to you need a valid account to access downloads.
Wow, I’m just asking where I can find a link. No need to get hostile and make wild assumptions. Be kind.
If the FortiClient software was better, I wouldn’t have this issue to begin with.
And I’ve solved many a problem my IT guy couldn’t…so there’s that… leave them alone. It’s a fair question.
I understand your intent, but your delivery could have been better.
Be nice, please
Just adding, latest version does not mean 7.2.3
The forticlient 7.0.11 is also the latest version for 7.0 releases
If using a “corporate” managed forticlient the right release train will depend on the EMS server managing your client (7.0 or 7.2) for instance
And you’re a huge security risk to your organization. Thanks for finding this 7 month old thread to prove that point!
