Off late I am facing huge issues with Disney Hotstar (India). I am not able to watch the Cricket matches as the site is forever loading. Also, while watching movies, if it comes for 5 mins, rest time goes in loading. I have tried both the Mumbai and Chennai servers and have also tried all the protocols. Anyone facing a similar issue? and any workaround? I have approached the Express VPN customer centre guys and they always have the standard answer and it hasn’t been resolved yet.
It’s been a hit or a miss for me too. But in all fairness, it’s been like this forever, lol
Sorry, a little off topic but how did you sign up to Disney Hotstar India? How did you get atound the bank Indian bank account needed and the Indian phone number required? Been trying to sign up for months but get stuck when asked for bank and phone details. I’m based in the UK. Thanks
I am an Indian and I have Indian bank account and phone number. I am right now based out of Europe, that’s why using Express VPN to access Hotstar
Did you get a resolution to this? I have subscribed to Nord VPN and tried it with my friend’s Indian hotstar account. It’s showing some series but then suddenly it throws ‘looks like you do not have an internet connection’ for other series.
Hi, just saw this comment. I’m currently outside India and used Nord to connect to India and use Disney+Hostar. The recorded services work and so does some live matches like South Africa domestic cricket but when trying to watch Indian cricket it shows error. Did you resolve your issue?
No. I wasn’t able to. I have Hulu too. So it didn’t make that much a difference.
