We recently began using AWS client VPN endpoints with SAML federated auth. After an automatic update of the client software on one of our Windows machines failed, I noticed a couple things -

The main download page here provides version 3.12.1, while the latest download on the release notes page here provides several newer versions, with the latest being 3.14.0, released almost a month after 3.12.1. Why is there such a large gap between the most current release and what’s available on the main download page? Is this normal for Amazon?

Regarding the failed update I mentioned above - the machine in question had a pop-up from the VPN client stating that 3.14.0 was available. The in-client update ended up failing with an invalid signature error, but after that I could no longer get the update prompt to show up again. Restarting the client, restarting the machine, uninstalling and reinstalling 3.12.1 - didn’t matter, the 3.14.0 update prompt would no longer show up (maybe deleting whatever user files were left behind post-uninstall would have cleared this). Ultimately I had to just manually download and install 3.14.0. Is there any way to force the client to check for updates on every launch or something? I don’t see any such options in the client’s GUI menus.
Thanks.
