Cant select servers anymore on CyberGhost

this is unacceptable CyberGhost decided to remove the ability for users to manually select their server and the auto connection feature that they have that is supposed to connect you to the best server sucks I’m not having stabled connection any more and my ping is always high the gaming servers that they provide are always overloaded and not being able to select what i want based on the ping makes it even worse

I’m not having any issues

Also your ping will always be high if you live in another country. Use a server in your same country or don’t use a VPN to online game.

Hi there!

We are sorry if you found this confusing. Indeed, we made some changes.

To streamline your experience and remove any guesswork from your selection process, we have stopped showing individual servers in ‘All servers’ tabs.

This way, whenever you select a location, our system does all the heavy lifting, connecting you to the best server for you.

You can rely on our load balancer to get maximum performance and perfect speeds every single time.

If you have any more questions or concerns, please address to our support team by email at [email protected] or live chat: https://support.cyberghostvpn.com/hc/en-us

buddy i live in syria 80% of the games are blocked the only way for me to play is by using a vpn and if i cant select a server with 89 ping it will connect me to one with 120 and its not even stabled

the only reason i chose to pay for this specific vpn was the option to manually select every single server you have. fix it.

You’re not helping. End users aren’t stupid. I keep getting kicked off sites now because of this.

You f*cked up your product. The only reason to use Cyberghost over any other VPN was the ability to pick individual servers. Now you’ve dumbed down your product and made it the same as every other generic VPN, there is no reason to use it anymore. Now I will switch over to NordVPN.

Oh geez. That’s terrible.

Our apps use a load balancer system that generates a list of custom servers based on several parameters and functions. From that list, the app will always choose the one with the lowest ping. That means that when you connected, the app assigned you a server with 120 ping because that was the most suitable one, with the lowest ping available. Hope this clarifies.

Are you in Syria? I hope the Syrian civil war will end soon

``We’ve restructured our servers list for easier and faster connections.``
this is the thing im complaining about besides the force self update on the porgram

At least on mobile phones you can install an old version of the app that still has the feature. On PC sadly I can’t find older versions and the program updates automatically.
