Can't get started with Guardian VPN in new eero Plus account

I have a new eero Plus account. When I tried to open Guardian VPN in the eero app for the first time I got the attached error on my iPhone 15. iOS, eero app, eero firmware are all up to date. Therefore, I have been unable to establish a Guardian account. Repeated attempts also fail. How do I proceed?

Restart your phone it will want to install a certain on your phone to allow the vpn to work. If that doesn’t work try reinstalling the eero app.

Deleting and reinstalling the eero app was required.

Having the same issue. Delete, reboot, reinstall didn’t work. IT not helping either

Finally got it to work. Sign out. Delete app. Reboot phone. Install. Sign in. Turn on VPN in app and accept terms.

I was able to just sign out and sign back in and then it worked. no reinstall or reboot required
