When I input the IP address that I get from looking in my windows 11 settings I am able to successfully test my connection and I can connect to both Sonarr and Radar. When I disable my Wi-Fi on my phone or I leave home I can’t connect to my server. When I use the suggested tools to obtain my IP address it gives me a completely different address. That address doesn’t test successfully. When I go into my router settings I see my IP address as Windows displays but under the title Internet Port I see the IP address that the web apps are giving me. I am on Spectrum Internet and I’m using a Netgear router/modem. Any help is greatly appreciated
You do need to setup a VPN like tailscale to access your LAN outside your network.
You can also create an exit node to make connection to tailscale as easy as possible.
One you have all that setup if you have an iOS or MacOS device you can take advantage of VPN on demand to automatically connect to it when you’re not at home.
I believe you need to open the ports sonarr and radarr use to allow outside traffic coming in, that’s easier but less secure. To be more secure you should set up a reverse proxy.
Can you point me to how to open up the ports on Sonarr and Radarr
Look up port forwarding for your router.
You probably also need to set it up in your Windows firewall settings.
TY. I’ll check it out
There is also a guide in the (in app) documentation, called help center, of nzb360.
My apologies… I never saw the help guide for remote connections. Only the guide for setting up Sonarr and Radarr
