From UCSD, you should have access to basically everything with the VPN: Virtual Private Networks (VPN) at UCSD
This is the best way to access academic papers, using the institutional logins isn’t nearly as useful. Just make sure you use 2-Step Secured - allthruucsd

Don’t use institution sign in. That’s not really the intended way of accessing stuff, just straight up don’t even bother with it. Most schools don’t use it since they often have so many journals for access, it’s just absurd to have that many integrations. That’s why UC Davis was the only UC that popped up, although every UC has access. It’s just not the correct way to use it and should be ignored.
Download and install the VPN, then connect to it using 2stepsecured-Allthruucsd. You should then have access to that and basically any other article, just may need to reload the page. This is the intended way to access journal articles when off campus, basically ignore institution login for basically any journal site (all the ones I’ve used).
