Hi, i’m new to the game and i searched everywhere, reddit and google, how to play on NA server from EU but i can’t find an answer.
I read everywhere in EU/NA comparisons: “just play in NA server” or things like that, like it’s normal to be able to choose, but i can’t find how to do it anywhere o.o
For now i tried the Steam version but it says “cannot connect to server” (and it has no audio), while the Steam version with “free to play” in the name works, but i think it connect me to the EU server.
Can someone explain it to me clearly? thanks in advance and i hope i’m not going against some rule (i read them).

You would need to download the NA launcher from elsword.koggames.com . If you actually live in Europe, though, you may not be able to access it unless you use a VPN that you set to make networks think that you’re in North America. As for how to do that, you’d have to do research elsewhere. I’m sure there are plenty of guides online about spoofing location using VPNs, though.
I also think you could access the NA Steam version if you used a VPN to spoof your location, but I make no guarantees on that one.
Hmm honestly I’m not so sure NA is that better than EU, other than being 6 months ahead I think EU has a better economy and more players. Anyways, NA probably has a web page you can directly download the game, like other servers.
Why play NA? It’s not free player friendly, it has a smaller playerbase and it’s not cash friendly either, the only good thing is it is 5 months ahead of EU, but, to be fair, being behind in terms of uodates has a lot of benefits

You should also make an account there and you should be good to go. You might experience some lag/connection issues, but it’s manageable.
go download windscribe vpn or another free vpn. turn on the VPN and make sure it is set to the USA. go to the elsword NA webpage and create an account. download/install the game. login to the game and create your character and tutorial. logout of the game. shut off your VPN and uninstall it f you want.
log back in and play the game.
You only need a VPN for account creation and first login otherwise it will place you in the INT server.
Stay on EU it’s the best of the non KR servers
You don’t need VPN to play or register on NA.
Regarding which is best non KR server…
Premium currency is cheaper on EU, some items like IB avatars are cheaper as well. Also, if you live in EU, you’ll be able to get in Ereda, PVP matching takes less time too. However, gold has less relative value, as you will need metric shit ton of gold to acquire some of end-game gear.
However, NA is much more updated, catching up as new player is literally 100 times easier. End game items are cheaper and it is easier to acquire them.
Currently EU’s economy is worse simply because of the fact that trifecta of Varnimyr accessories cost ~1B in EU, which is more than 3 times the amount what it costs in NA.

Prices just went lower because Varnimyr Accessories droprate got increased by a shit ton in KR and NA, we will get that too. same goes for MR Accessories.
We know that, why should we waste a lot of ED instead of preparing?
See it as KR and NA are the testsubjects while we get smarter from their mistakes and calculations.

That’s cap I’m from the EU myself and can download NA without a VPN from the original website.
That might be the reason for prices, but it doesn’t change the end result, does it?
Why should we waste a lot of ED? Because we don’t know when it is coming and these accessories are important pieces for progression.
NA is also literally 100 times more friendly towards beginners than EU. On one hand you have easy +9 void weapon with all disks and +9 Elrianode armor, cheap Varnimyr accessories and easy-ish way of getting Master Road accessories. On the other hand, you have extreme grind for void weapon (EU still requires 1200 energy shards for Yellow 5 disk for fuck’s sake), shit ton of grind for elrianode gear and then even more grind for Master Road accessories. I say fuck that.

Create account not being in NA: INT account
INT and NA share client, INT is Gaia, NA is Solace.
You can play NA client without VPN.
You can’t create NA account without VPN.

But you really dont need to grind for elrianode gear anymore, the 260k CP cap should be easy to get with nowadays to jump onto Rigomor Armor asap
Atleast i didnt have any problems getting the 260k cap as f2p. i also was stupid enough to overgear my Elrianode gear (40% ASD, 9% Polarize etc) and started to farm rigomor later than i have should been.
Dude but you are completely missing the point. All the things above you mentioned about EU x NA are patch related things that EU will eventually get, and yes, we know the exact time it is coming, its 6 months.
If you think buying cheaper accessories and having a free +9 is all that good you are either a new/mid game player or are not thinking on the long term. I’ll tell you again, what makes EU a better server is the fact that the economy is way better and we have more players, and these are things that will hardly change regardless of the patch, and trust me, they impact way more on your gameplay than a patch that we will all eventually get.
