Do you have to pay for dazn tho?
Cool, and it looks almost like a typical Wi-Fi router or access point from a distance! Their list of supported services suggests that they may be planning to support Australian streaming services soon, which might be interesting as I sometimes miss the wider selection of free-to-air content I get when I visit certain other family members for the holidays. I had tried NordVPN, but haven’t tried hard enough to get past some services detecting VPNs since I’m trying to get myself to watch content already available to me here in Singapore.
Second nord VPN, I’ve been using it to access iplayer and itvhub on my Google tv and it works flawlessly
nord is ok but looking for free
Incorrect. ExpressVPN works perfectly with Netflix
In my experience, it depends on the VPN you use. Big ones like PIA, NordVPN, Surfshark, etc almost always get detected by Netflix/Hulu/Prime Video, but if I use Google’s “VPN by Google One” or Tachyon VPN, it lets me through.
Granted, the Google One VPN doesn’t let you change location, but Tachyon VPN does.
Ya but it requires premium membership for Netflix
Have you tried using Send Files To TV and then using a file manager to move the file to the proper folder? I prefer FX File Explorer myself.
I use express. You have to pick and chose servers though. Seattle is near unusable but san francisco is money.
I use ExpressVPN and it works great on Android TV, but I often just torrent the stuff for other Netflix regions because it’s more reliable.
Nothing more annoying than a drop-out mid show/movie.
Yep got a legitimate DAZN account in my name for less than £8 a month.
Strange that they would pick and choose - obviously the fact that they’re blocking any VPN means they don’t want you to connect from an alternate location.
There must be some reason that they are blocking some VPNs and not others. But I have no idea where to even begin. They’re not just going to be like…ya know what? I like Nord and Express for some random reason. Let them connect.
Can’t testify this, Nord works just fine for me for Netflix.
Nonsense, these services work perfectly with nord VPN
That makes sense. Can’t keep track of all VPN server IPs all the time. But it probably doesn’t take very long to detect them and add them to their blacklist.
No it’s paid for? I paid about £85 for 3 years.
Made it through xfile explore. Uploaded the file to my google drive
So I can do that even if i don’t reside there? Wow
They don’t pick and choose, they want to block all VPNs, but some VPNs have better technology and can get around the blocks.
Happy to see it worked out for you!
