Anyone know a truly free VPN that is at least half decent?

I’m just looking for a truly free VPN with a good bit of data if not unlimited. Help is appreciated.

The last time I checked, ProtonVPN has a free but limited option. That’s probably your best option beyond using the 30-day trial options for various different services.

“Free” means they’re snooping your data and selling it. It’s never free.

I use WindScribe for free temporary VPN needs. It gives you 10 GB per month of free use if you opt-in to their mailing list (I use a dedicated email account for this). But yeah, 10 GB isn’t much. I use it mainly to watch short geo-locked YouTube videos.

The Opera browser advertises free VPN, but someone else said it’s not true VPN - so I don’t know.

I tried proton, but the connection wouldn’t last more than 30 seconds.
