I’m contemplating switching to YouTube TV. I have a US address and will be using it at my place in Florida as well. I would be using it on a Firestick and currently use NordVPN for a lot of other things. Are there any issues with it working in Canada?
The biggest problem is what YouTubeTV defines as your ‘home area’
The biggest hurdle is having an American credit card. If you have that, you shouldn’t have any issues.
Personally I use US FuboTV with SmartDNS Proxy. It’s been working great for years.
The biggest problem is the price IMO, in Canadian money it is quite expensive…
AirVPN has worked for months with YouTubeTV. Now it Is not working. I’m in the US. Connected to a Dallas VPN using WireGuarf

I switch my VPN to Bahamas and I get no ads.
I use Surfshark with YouTube to watch from anywhere in the world, most often Albania to avoid ads (YouTube doesn’t have advertising enabled for that country). Should work fine with Nord too.
I don’t use YouTube TV though so YMMV.
not YT TV, but regular YT - is ad free if you use the VPN and set the country to albania

Can’t say it’s worth the price. Will be cancelling before the free trial is over.
Will most likely switch to a full Sling package as I get the Seattle locals through a very cheap TV package.
Tried to get DirectTVStream to work but very challenging to access the site with a VPN.

How did you get around the precise location sharing that YTTV needs to geolocate you? It’s one thing to have the VPM but it’s another to change your actual GPS location.

I just turned off precise location in settings and YTTV is now working on nordvpn.

I use Amazon FireSticks and I’m not sure how the firetv software deals with location.
