Any free VPNs that are good for just accessing foreign websites?

I know free VPNs are not popular because they sell data and are not actually hiding IP like a vpn should. But before anyone says it, i only need one right now to see shows only available in one place, nothing very serious.

vpns like proton claim to be free but on their website it instantly hits you with pricing plans

No, a free VPN isn’t really going to help you.
You’ll get banned from the sites you want to access immediately. I’d recommend NordVPN or Surfshark. For Nord, I found this promo that gives you 74% off.

Proton. My use for it probably more extensive than yours and no issues are all for 2 years. I have protonmail for about twenty years. Solid for me. And Drive is next few days as I “degoogle” myself.

You shouldn’t use free VPN.
They’re almost definitely selling your data.

It really depends on where you are and what you want to do. Does accessing foreign websites mean “circumvent geoblocking”, or are you in a country with strict censorship? For example do you want to access western news sites out of China, or do you want to stream hd video from another country?

Using a free VPN service often means you might be the product. For safer browsing, consider using proxies. Oxylabs offers a package that includes free 5 IP proxies.

remember, if a product is free then YOU are the product

Windscribe (Free):

  • Provides a decent balance of features and performance.
  • Has data caps but offers some free data for completing certain tasks.

Hide.me (Free):

  • Known for its strong security features.
  • Limited server locations and data caps apply.

TunnelBear (Free):

  • User-friendly interface with a fun bear mascot.
  • Offers a limited amount of data per month.

Important Considerations:

  • Check for compatibility: Ensure the VPN is compatible with your device and operating system.
  • Read reviews: Look for user feedback to get a sense of the VPN’s performance and reliability.
  • Be cautious of fake VPNs: There are many fraudulent VPN apps out there, so download only from trusted sources.

Remember: Even with a free VPN, you might encounter issues accessing specific content due to geo-blocking and VPN detection.

Any free VPNs that are good for just accessing foreign websites?

No. Just no.

If you’re looking for a free VPN, maybe you might want to try my VPN app called SXP VPN : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sxp.fastproxy_changer&hl=en

Please note that it’s currently only available for Android devices and includes ads, which help me cover the server maintenance costs. By the way, a new UI update is in the works and should be released later this month

Opera web browser has a free one built in for both mobile and desktop. No need to mess about with VPN software.

Besides Opera, Brave browser has a free one built in.

shows only available in one place

You kind of need to specify the place bro

Urban-vpn ( free on pc only)

Opera’s browser has a built-in VPN, but for me it’s extremely slow so to check a website it works, but would not work for video

There are no free ones. So if you want to do that, research the best paid one for the best price.

WebSecureNow is what im using now

The free vpn only has a couple of countries you can select
