All of my vpns suddenly stopped working

I use a couple different vpns though not both at the same time obviously just in case one is down. Yesterday I restarted my computer and after that none of my vpns allow me to connect to the internet. I’ve tried installing some different ones after that to no avail.

Plain guess: Device naming changed, so that VPN association is broken?

DNS config glitch that wasn’t recognized at the time of change, but becomes evident after reboot?

same problem for me everytime i use a vpn my ip isnt secret or if i use another one the wifi just disconnects my malware checking site says there is a malware everytime i try to on my vpn.

have you checked your firewall configuration hasn’t been altered after a windows update, that happened to me recently

I own a new VPN company and sometimes my users see the same issue, and this command resolves it:

Type cmd in the Start Search box, right-click cmd.exe, click Run as administrator, and then press Continue. Type netsh winsock reset at the command prompt, and then press ENTER. Then reboot. Then try your VPN.

Did you figure it out.

I’m not super tech-savy, would you know how to fix this?

I did ya, it seemed to be unchanged.

Check your routers firmware wasn’t updated the same time as you started having the issues, sometimes ISP’s firmware updates can cause porting issues

Thanks for the suggestion, give it a shot and the issue remains unsolved sorry.

sorta, it’s just a consequence of living in Russia. All of the major vpns simply don’t work but it works if you use really obscure browser based ones some of the time.

Uninstall the VPN’s and have Windows reset the network connections via the trouble shooting wizard. Then reinstall a VPN.

Sorry to hear that! The only other thing I can think of is that something fingerprinted all your VPNs and blocked it. Try looking up who I am, my VPN specifically combats these types of techniques. Maybe it’ll work for you, would love to hear if it does.

thanks for the suggestion, I tried it and it didn’t work sadly.

I did give your VPN a shot but much like my other VPN’s it wasn’t working for me sadly.

Ahh, if that is the case, then I would say it definitely is something more local to your PC/home router. Hard to say what to check from there, perhaps borrow a laptop from a friend, plug in at home, see if that works?
